Hampden Farmers’ Market 16 Somers Road, Hampden, Ma 01036 Vendor Registration This is a seasonal registration. The vendors fee is $3.00, per market day OR $40.00 for the market season. (May 19th – October 20th) plus one product per week to be donated to our free raffle basket for vendor and market promotion. Please complete this application and mail with your check to Hampden Farmers’ Market P.O. Box 96, Hampden MA. 01036. This is due prior to your first participation in the Hampden Farmers Market for the 2012 season. Thereafter, Sign in each Saturday, using an attendance sheet provided at the market for that purpose. Vendors who drop in without prior notice will be charged $5.00 for that market day, if they are approved to sell by the market manager. There is no fee for charitable organizations to attend the market, however, they must be approved in advance. Craft and Tag Sale items may be sold the last Saturday of every month for a fee of $5.00. Prepared or Processed Foods: Pies, Cakes, Breads, Jams, Jellies, Relishes , Pickles, Candy, Baked Goods, Preserved/Canned Vegetables, Milk, Butter, Cheese, Ice Cream, Meat of any kind. The above products may only be offered by vendors having a Food Establishment Permit for the kitchen and preparation facilities inspected by the Board of Health. Please contact the Hampden Board of Health for information and instructions. You may not sell prepared or processed foods until a Food Establishment permit is obtained and verified by the Farmers Market. For a Food Establishment Permit in Hampden contact the Town office for an application: 566-2152 x102 The Hampden Board of Health, through its Health Agent, reserves the right to inspect the retail sales being conducted at farmers’ markets and to enforce safe food handling procedures.
